the paper is a final publish
STRICT DEADLINE DUE TUESDAY, 9/6, 11:59 PM
NO LATE POSTS WILL BE ACCEPTED
If you haven’t posted your WEEK 9 OUTLINE AND ROUGH publish by Monday, 9/5, by 8 AM, you will not be able to complete the M11 Final publish because the M9 Rough publish is required, first, as part of the publishing process. That situation could trigger course failure, and I don’t want that to happen to you. We want to do everything to ensure your success – so, please be sure to follow the process and ask questions early (drobin@nc.edu) if you require any extra help.
THIS FINAL publish DOES NOT REQUIRE OUTSIDE SOURCES. YOU SHOULD ONLY USE YOUR OWN MIND. WHILE OUTSIDE SOURCES CAN NORMALLY BE USED WHEN CITED PROPERLY, YOU SHOULD NOT USE THEM AT ALL FOR THIS FINAL publish.
1. Final publishs that use outside sources and do not cite them will be considered in violation of the College’s Academic Integrity Policy and will earn an automatic zero without redo.
2. Final publishs that use outside sources and do cite them will not be given any credit even though it wouldn’t be in violation of Academic Integrity… it would be in violation of the assignment directions – just use your own mind!
3. Please do not post writing from another class – you will be required to continue with additional content for your topic from your rough publish – if you post your own writing from another class, it wouldn’t be in violation of Academic Integrity… it would be in violation of the assignment directions – please continue with your topic from your rough publish and engage in the full process of publish writing during this class
Assignment Description and Directions:
Please review the instructions within the module.
Assignment Description:
Carefully read the feedback that I gave you on your Problem/Solution 1st publish. You might want to also re-read the rough publish instructions to familiarize yourself with the initial requirements for the paper. You might also review the assigned chapters in the e-book (see syllabus or the first link in each module) and the weekly lessons in order to firmly grasp the concepts required to write this final publish. Finally, be sure to review the rubric below to know exactly how this assignment will be assessed.
1. Keep doing (and do more) of the positive aspects – what you’re doing well.
2. Revise the constructive aspects – what you need to add, edit, revise, omit.
3. Ask me for help ASAP if you need it.
4. Add at least 250 more words to your 1st publish where you come up with 1-2 hypothetical situations that you might encounter.
5. Add at least 250 more words after completing step 4 (above) – the majority of these words should be used to add a second solution to your problem (you should already have one solution in your rough publish, so now you’ll have two solutions for this 2nd publish).
SO, IN TOTAL, THIS FINAL publish SHOULD BE AT LEAST 1,700 WORDS (but could be more based on your rough publish – recheck your feedback to see the exact amount required of you).
To earn a passing grade (C or higher), you must add the additional content to this revision – you could add more sentences, paragraphs, or any combination of both. If your rough publish was 1200 words of fewer, this final publish needs to be at least 1700 words. If your rough publish was 1201 words or more, you need to add at least 500 more words. Your exact total word count for this paper is listed directly in last week’s rough publish feedback.
This entire assignment is based upon the process of revision – again, papers that do not follow the rough publish feedback INCLUSIVE of additional required content cannot earn a passing grade. I want you to do really well and avoid unnecessary frustration – so, please make sure that you follow the rough publish feedback AND understand that the rubric of this final publish assignment is based entirely on the revisions that you made to this final publish (the rubric is NOT based on any aspects from your rough publish, so if you just post the same or a very similar file without following feedback, you have not met the criteria of the rubric for the final publish, which is based off of the revisions/additions you make for this assignment).
Of course, your topic will stay the same, but please make the necessary additions, revisions, and edits from your Rough publish to your Final publish.
Make sure to “SAVE AS” instead of “SAVE” so you don’t lose your previous copy
Be sure to use the following label when you save it: Last Name_First initial of your first name_PSFinal (ex: RobinDPSFinal.doc)
IF YOU DID NOT POST THE WEEK 9 OUTLINE AND ROUGH publish, DO NOT POST ANYTHING HERE.
