Although, as an employee your self-interest might be hurt by offshoring, or by freer access to u.s. markets by foreign producers.

Participate in a discussion with your classmates regarding how international trade affects our lives. Review the “EYE on Your Life” caption titled, International Trade, within Section 18.3 in the textbook. As noted in this caption, you have a big stake in the politics of free trade versus international trade protections. As a buyer, your self-interest is hurt by tariffs and quotas on imported goods. Although, as an employee your self-interest might be hurt by offshoring, or by freer access to U.S. markets by foreign producers. Discuss and share the trade policies that best serve your self-interests, and those that best serve the social interest. Please include the concepts and arguments pertaining to free trade versus trade protections as explained in the textbook when sharing your discussion.

There is also the gsi feedback and some paper requirements.

In the word file below you can find the brainstorming reseach I sent to my GSI that is what the idea is and how we could tackle it. it is a base to start with, you can then add whaever you think is most appropriate. There is also the GSI feedback and some paper requirements.
I would need to have all the sources you used to make it. it means all the data you used and where they came from. all the codes you used in R/Stata or otherwise Python. R is preferred since I know it. I also uploaded the paper I mentioned in the brainstorming research.
This is an economic paper.
